Hunter And Ellis: 4

FOUR:
I wake up.

Ellis is up as well. He's rubbing his head. He looks a little pale. I smell no infection in him. He coughs into his good hand. I growl. He flinches. It goes silent. He inches away. I scared him. I merely snort. So bored... I lie down on the floor. Dahm. Boredom. I growl into the floor. After a while I sit up. I stare at the wall. Time moves slowly. I screech. I grab a soft thing. I tear at it. White stuff goes flying. I fume for a moment. Ellis looks at me wierdly. I snort and leave. I sit on a roof nearby.

I whine. Something is different about him. But what?! I try to focus on something, anything, but I can't. Dammit! What makes Ellis so special. I see an infected. I attack. I shred until there is nothing. Nothing's changed. It takes a few more, but I finish. I trudge back. So many things are going through my head. I head back in. He's asleep. I lie on the floor. It takes a while, but I fall asleep.

I hear Ellis. He's trying to tell me something. I wake up slowly. I hear gunshots. He's warning me. He trying to tell me to leave. No. I shake my head. He frowns. He points that thing at me. He's tells me again. I feel a strange feeling in my chest. I finally do so. I run. I run until I can't hear them. I finally stop. Something wet rolls down my cheek. I touch it. It's tears. How...Why? I howl. I miss him. I don't know why, but I do. I hear more Infected.

I pounce. I kill. I don't know how many, but I kill. I kill until there is nothing but me. I scream. I want him back. I felt something in me. Something I haven't felt in a while.

Lonliness.

I didn't like it. I didn't want it. I wanted Ellis. But why!? WHY DAMMIT! I scream and the sky. The sun is rising. I walk. I don't know where, I just walk.
